Christina Lindemer

Christina Lindemer is a coastal engineer and emergency management specialist at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Headquarters supporting the Federal Insurance and Mitigation Administration (FIMA). She provides the Risk Management Directorate with coastal subject matter expertise with the goal of decreasing coastal risk exposure and supporting mitigation actions nationwide.

Prior to this position, she was a senior coastal engineer with FEMA Region IV in Atlanta. She was the coastal flood risk lead for the Region, providing technical guidance and project management for coastal flood hazard mapping efforts throughout the southeast. Before joining FEMA, she worked as a coastal engineer at Dewberry, in Fairfax, Va.

Christina attended the University of Delaware for her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering with Distinction and graduate degree of a Master’s in Civil Engineering. In her free time, Christina enjoys being out on the water, whether it is sailing, paddle boarding or windsurfing.
