CINA – DHS Internship Opportunity

Mason’s CINA Center is seeking applications to develop a candidate pool for DHS internships covering an 8-10 week period during the summer of 2022. As a DHS Center of Excellence, CINA’s mission focuses on four primary areas: criminal network analysis; dynamic patterns of criminal activity; forensics; and criminal investigative processes. Areas of interest relative to CINA (Criminal Investigations and Network Analysis) include:

  • – Data Science and Data Analytics
  • – Network Analytics
  • – Digital Forensics
  • – Criminology
  • – Computational and programming skills
  • – Geospatial Science
  • – Focused Research

Interested candidates, undergraduate or graduate students with a strong academic record (GPA 3.0 or higher), should submit the materials by March 15, 2022. All candidates must be US CITIZENS.

  • – Current resume (include GPA)
  • – Cover letter (no more than 1 page) with a brief statement about your skillsets and their relevance to a DHS internship
  • – Three references, including contact information of a faculty member familiar with your work
