InfraGardNCR, the FBI’s Washington field office, and FBIHQ’s Crimes Against Children & Human Trafficking Unit invite you to join us online for three consecutive Thursday mornings to learn about human trafficking.
On Thursday, Nov. 5, from 11a-noon (Eastern), we’ll focus on Human Trafficking: What is it? A supervisory special agent from FBIHQ and an assistant US attorney will describe what types of human trafficking are most common, where it occurs, why it’s important, how the FBI investigates it, and how the Department of Justice prosecutes it. On Thursday, Nov. 12, from 11a-noon (Eastern), we’ll focus on Human Trafficking: What does it look like? Case agents who have investigated trafficking will present details of one or more specific human trafficking cases – what happened, how the FBI found out about it, what role our private-sector partners played, and what happened to the victims and perpetrators. On Thursday, Nov. 19, from 11a-noon (Eastern), we’ll focus on Human Trafficking: What’s the impact? And what can we do about it? An expert from a nonprofit partner will describe how trafficking affects its victims. Then a supervisory special agent from the FBI’s Washington field office will explain what to look for and how to report potential trafficking. We’ll also touch upon some key organizations working to mitigate this threat. Register here: https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/6654971558977372432.
You must register separately for each session. As soon as you register, you’ll get connection details directly from [email protected].
