Amy R. Reibman

Purdue University

Dr. Reibman is a Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Purdue University. She received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Duke University. Her research interests include image and video analysis with applications to: i) Image and video quality assessment (Theme: improving overall system performance by integrating accurate quality estimators into real systems); ii) Video analytics (Theme: enhancing enjoyment and learning of recreational activities (sewing, knitting, cooking, sports, musical learning, driving) through video analysis of daily activities). Dr. Reibman was elected IEEE Fellow in 2005, for her contributions to video transport over networks.
